Fargo
Fargo is North Dakota’s most populous city and visitors will find a wide
variety of activities including several good museums, interesting historic

attractions is the Plains Art Museum, housed in the historic International
Harvester Warehouse. Once you have admired some of the 3,000 works in the
permanent collection, you can learn about local history at Bonanzaville USA

Medora
Visiting the historic town of Medora is a little like stepping back in time
to the 1880s, when the town was established along the North Pacific Railway
by the French nobleman Marquis de Mores. Today, visitors can find out all
about those exciting times on an escorted walking tour of historic Medora.
The town boasts several historic sites to visit, including Chateau de
Mores, the Harold Schafer Heritage Center, the Von Hoffman House, and the
Billings Country Courthouse Museum. Outdoors the fun continues in the
Theodore Roosevelt National Park, where you can take a scenic Badlands
drive or go camping and hiking, while the legendary Maah Daah Hey Trail
attracts hikers, bikers, and horseback riders from near and far.

KMOT Ag Expo, Minot
A popular event for more than four decades, and now one of the main North
Dakota US events, the KMOT Ag Expo is the largest indoor agricultural show
in the upper Midwest and attracts more than 35,000 visitors every year.
Over 360 exhibitors in almost 1,000 booths cover all aspects of agriculture
in Western North Dakota including the latest in agricultural technology and
equipment as well as livestock displays and informative seminars on all
topics in agriculture. late January
Sports RV and Boat Show, Minot
North Dakota's largest sport show, and one of the top annual events in the
area attracting over 14,000 visitors each year, the KXMC Sports RV and Boat
Show showcases a wide range of recreational equipment, from recreational
vehicles and boats to hunting and fishing equipment showcased by experts
and exhibitors from Canada and throughout the USA. Other highlights of the
event are the exhibits of spas, motorcycles, general home and garden
products and even vacation resorts mid-March.
Fargo Marathon, Fargo
A wealth of courses/races include the marathon and half marathon, a
beautiful loop tour through Fargo and neighboring Moorhead, MN, the Dawson
Insurance /Allied Group Marathon Relay where marathon running becomes a
team sport, the ever popular 5K Fun Run/Walk with nearly 4,000
participants, and the 1/2 Mile Youth Race. mid May
