Whitefish Winter Carnival offers a wide menu of fun and entertainment with
everything from spectacular fireworks display to Viking Divas to a magical
parade of torches. This carnival is held in early February every year.
Wild West Winterfest, Bozeman
One of the main events in Montana, Wild West Winterfest is a 2-day fest
offering varieties of displays and unusual activities, from old western
food cooking demonstrations to black powder demonstrations, hockey
tournaments, horse sales, driver contests, dog key pulling contests, and
more. Wild West Winterfest is held in mid-February every year.
Custer’s Last Stand Re-enactment, Hardin & Crow Agency
A grand pageant of Montana history, Custer’s Last Stand Re-enactment
includes over 300 re-enactors reliving the events that led up to the
Custer’s Last Stand. The site where this re-enactment is performed is less
than 30 miles away from the site where the actual event occurred. It is
done in late June every year.
