Golconda Fort

Built in 1591, Charminar is a monument and mosque that is an icon of Hyderabad. This monument is one of the most recognized structures in the country. It was built by Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah, the fifth ruler of the Qutb Shahi dynasty. Every minaret of the monument has four stories with a carved ring. There are 45 prayer spaces for devotees. Towards the west end of Charminar is Mecca Masjid, which is one of the oldest mosques of South India.

Opened for public in 1963, Nehru Zoological Park is home to about 250 fauna species. All the animals in Nehru Zoological Park are kept in their natural environment. The zoo features fauna such as Indian rhino, Indian elephant, Bengal tiger, panther, python, gaur, Asiatic lion, and more. It is also home to a number of bird species. Nehru Zoological Park also includes attractions such as Toy Train, natural History Museum, Butterfly Park, Aquarium, Children's Park, and Jurassic Park.
