Built in 1929, the Vikingsholm is a rare combination of American Craftsman and late 19th century Scandinavian Revival architectural styles. This breathtaking bayside mansion is a summerhouse made by Mrs. Lora Josephine Knight who had traveled to Scandinavia to learn and incorporate local architectural styles for her abode. The Vikingsholm is located close to another stunner called the ‘Tea House’ on Fannette Island.
