Constructed in 1916, the Vizcaya Museum is a National Historic Landmark. Former home of James Deering, the museum is an Italian Renaissance-style villa and houses impressive decorative arts and European furniture from 15th to 19th centuries. The villa has aesthetically landscaped gardens with elegant Italian and French sculptures and fountains.
