Founded in 2002, LAN Ecuador (XL) has its main hub at the Mariscal Sucre International Airport and the Jose Joaquin de Olmedo International Airport. The airline is a subsidiary of LAN Airlines and with a fleet size of 7 aircrafts it offers scheduled passenger services to around 11 destinations. LAN Ecuador offers three classes of service: Premium Business Class, Premium Economy Class and Economy Class.

Also, there are newspapers and magazines available onboard.
Economy Class:Even the Economy Class cabins of LAN Ecuador offer services and amenities those are second to none. The online check-in service is available from 48 hours up to 2 hours before the scheduled departure of the flight. The service is currently only available for those having an electronic ticket.
